Raytheon: www.team8plus.org/forum_viewtopic.php?6.1370

Raytheon is one of several companies looking to use new satellite technology that could someday allow jets to be landed by people on the ground, in much the same way that hobbyists bring in their model airplanes by remote control. The company announced Monday that its technology had guided a Federal Express 727 to a safe landing on a New Mexico Air Force base in AUGUST(2001) all without the need of a pilot.

However associate  the above with what follows!

I see a plane.  A plane? I thought, what is it doing?  Is it doing a fly by? Why would it be doing that? And its moving real fast.the sound that plane made as it came in was sickening.

Then boom.  It almost happens in slow motion in my mind as the second plane piles into the south tower (2 World Trade).  The tower engulfs the plane, swallows it whole.  And then the flames.

For some reason, I thought it was a FedEx plane that hit the building (based on the purple colors of the plane), and I took comfort that there werent that many passengers on it. Later I found out Im wrong.

*Tewksbury man's remains in WTC disaster positively identified *

By ** Associated Press
TAUNTON, Mass. - *The remains of Peter A. Gay who was aboard one of the
hijacked planes that crashed into the World Trade Center Sept. 11 have
been been positively identified*, and were expected to be returned home
later this week, according to family members.

FBI agents broke the news to Gay's wife, Linda, Tuesday night, a brother
of the victim, attorney David Gay, told the Taunton Daily Gazette. A
native of Taunton, Peter Gay, 54, lived with his family in Tewksbury.

The family was told that the remains were identified *through
fingerprints, dental records or DNA*.
The remains were discovered last
Friday along with the remains of a few other people.

A family member said* there was no indication what condition the remains
were in.*

David Gay said the remains probably would not be returned to
Massachusetts by the New York City medical examiner's office until later
in the week. A funeral Mass will be held in Taunton for friends and
family only, he said, and burial probably would be in Tewksbury.

''In the long run, it will be good closure,'' said David Gay. ''In the
short term, it's almost like starting over.''

A memorial Mass, in which Peter Gay's daughter Larissa Lynne sang a song
called ''Song to Dad'' before hundreds of mourners in Lowell, was
celebrated on Sept. 19.

Gay, the father of two adult sons and an eight-year-old daughter, was
aboard American Airlines Flight 11 which was hijacked after it left
Boston and crashed into the WTC towers.

A vice president and general manager of Raytheon Co. in Andover, Gay had
been making weekly commutes to Los Angeles to supervise development of
Patriot missiles at a new California plant.

The number of missing stood yesterday at 4,339. Of the 478 people whose
remains have been recovered, 425 have been identified.
